Weavers Academy

Congratulations to the following athletes for their efforts in the County Cross County at Croyland Park in January. It was a cold, damp, horrible morning (just as cross country should be) but all the qualifying athletes from Weavers Academy arrived on time and raring to go. All athletes were a credit to themselves and the school and should be proud of their effort. A big well done goes to all of the athletes for their efforts and here we are awaiting the results of those who have qualified to represent the East Midland Team.

Alongside this, I would personally like to thank Mr Emary, Miss Kinghorn and especially Mr Stredwick for all of his effort in organising and running an excellent cross country event on behalf of Weavers Academy, the Wellingborough and East Northants District School PEA, and Wellingborough and District Athletics club.
